Aycan Akdağ, who studied International Relations, Finance, and Psychology in San Francisco, initially planned to pursue a career in the United States but returned to Turkey due to family business matters. He became the CFO of the family company, focusing on the financial aspects. Despite his interest in the business world, Aycan’s passion for food led him to enter the gastronomy realm. Driven by his passion for gastronomy, he completed training programs at Le Cordon Bleu, Sommelier WSET 3, and Court of Masters Sommelier Programs, thus specializing in culinary arts and wine culture. In 2011, he stepped into the world of culinary with Arşipel Fish Restaurant and ventured further by founding Arşipel Sushi in 2012. After closing Arşipel Sushi in 2016, he seized the opportunity to establish Inari Omakase with a fresh concept. Inspired by Japanese cuisine, Inari Omakase offers a unique gastronomic experience across four different locations in Istanbul and Bodrum.
