Founder Aycan Akdağ had the opportunity to taste the flavors of many Far Eastern restaurants during his years in the United States. These experiences turned into a passion for Far Eastern cuisine. Upon returning to Turkey, he set out with the desire to enrich the Far Eastern cuisine in his country. Akdağ stepped into the culinary world in 2011 with Arşipel Fish Restaurant and later ventured further by founding Arşipel Sushi in 2012. After closing Arşipel Sushi in 2016, he seized the opportunity to establish Inari Omakase Kuruçeşme with a fresh concept in 2016. He seized the opportunity to bring an innovative breath to the gastronomy world. Aycan Akdağ, targeting a young and dynamic audience with the ‘Chef’s Recommendation’ concept, opened the Vadistanbul branch in 2018. Inari Vadistanbul, created a family-friendly atmosphere with its expansive garden. Bodrum EDITION, under the name ‘Kujira,’ meaning whale in Japanese, successfully introduced itself to a wide audience in 2012 with a concept suitable for Bodrum’s unique nature, particularly captivating foreign guests. In July 2022, Inari Piku in Etiler caught attention with its design, spacious areas, and distinctive experience, featuring dedicated rooms for small groups and private events. Inari Omakase continues to offer guests the opportunity to discover new flavors, while skillfully blending Japanese cuisine with modern touches across its four different locations.
